Waseca, MN [December 5, 2019] Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel group company, (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and global leader in delivering reliable connectivity solutions, announces the expansion of the 2.92mm series with vertical launch, PCB compression mount connectors, that come with and without a side groove. This type of connector is commonly used in test and measurement applications, semi-conductor testing fixtures, PC board characterization, and networking applications.
Cinch Connectivity Solutions’ 2.92mm connectors are designed to provide low return loss values for frequencies up to 40 GHz. The side groove connector enables microstrip or grounded coplanar waveguide (GCPW) designs that are suitable for various board materials and thicknesses. Both are available in 2-hole flange mount and the vertical launch design reduces footprint requirements without sacrificing performance. The solderless design allows for peak RF performance and can be easily mounted, removed and reused with little difficulty. These new vertical mount jacks are part of a growing offering of Johnson 2.92mm mmWave products for 5G applications.
